KASK Helmets and Parlanti USA Partner with JustWorld International to Give Back

JustWorld International is excited to announce their new partnership with KASK Helmets and Parlanti USA. Portions of KASK equestrian helmet and Parlanti boot purchases over the next year will help to fund teacher salaries and provide student uniforms and shoes to children in grades K-6 at JustWorld partner project, People Improvement Organization (PIO), in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.In 2004, JustWorld joined forces with PIO to build a school, helping to ensure that children in Cambodia had access to an education. This school was built on a municipal dump site of Stung Mean Chey where children were scavenging for recyclables to sell for food to support their families. Since then, more than half of the operating budget at the school has been continually provided by JustWorld. This year alone, 850 students are being supported though the partnership which provides a variety of programs, including official school curricula from kindergarten through sixth grade, dance instruction, nutrition, and medical and hygiene care, as well as monthly rice allocations as an incentive to families for keeping their children in school. Through the programs that PIO provides, some of the most vulnerable children in Cambodia have been given tangible hope for a promising future as the society recovers from a tragic past.Thanks to dedicated support from partners like KASK and Parlanti, JustWorld has been able to make a long-term impact on students’ lives.
